MBC Hall of fame call for nominations

Nomination Process

Nominations are invited from MBC members. An awards jury of five active MBC members will be appointed to solicit nominations, review candidates and oversee the administration of the awards. The MBC president and president-elect will be ex officio members of the jury.

Nominations must come from MBC members, though nominees and honorees need not be members. The burden of responsibility falls on the person nominating to provide the information needed to justify the candidate’s induction.

Criteria for selecting Hall of Fame companies:

  • Has consistently contributed to the advancement of the design and construction industry with significant achievements in one or more of four key areas:
    • Community involvement and philanthropy
    • Project innovation
    • Association leadership and industry collaboration
    • Environmental stewardship and sustainability
  • Has demonstrated leadership and integrity in the design and construction industry for a minimum of ten years as a company.
  • Has advanced the design and construction industry through staff and client relations achievements which promote team collaboration, project excellence and client service.

Deadline: June 29, 2010

accepted after this date. A completed nomination form must accompany each entry.

2. There are no limitations to the number of entries in the eight categories.

The Massachusetts Building Congress (MBC) invites your nominations for noteworthy company and organization inductees into the MBC Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding legacy organizations from the design and construction industry — including clients — that consistently demonstrate high integrity, project innovation, community support and employee investment.

The MBC Hall of Fame recognizes companies, not individuals or projects, for extraordinary organizational
achievements.

Nominations are now open – an easy, streamlined process!

Consider nominating your clients, your industry partners, and the organizations that contribute to making
Massachusetts a national leader in the A/E/C industry.

The 2011 Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at the MBC Annual Dinner and Hall of Fame Gala in November.

Overview
